The Society for the Study of Christian Ethics is keen to facilitate United Kingdom Minority Ethnic/Global Majority Heritage (UKME/GMH) students, scholars and practitioners to participate and contribute to its annual conferences. We want to address the marginalisation of UKME/GMH voices, questions, experiences and perspectives and to become a space for deeper and broader conversation around the topics which constitute the endeavour of Christian ethics.
The SSCE has a longstanding tradition of encouraging participation by students, unwaged members, early-career academics, and ministers on low incomes. Accordingly, we invite members on low incomes to apply for bursaries towards conference costs.
The SSCE Postgrad Conference 2020 will take place on 30 March at the University of Aberdeen. We welcome paper proposals (due by 7 February 2020). See here for more details.
